The Children’s Specialty Clinic of the San Luis Valley is raising funds to build a novel, transdisciplinary therapy clinic that supports children who dance to the beat of their own drum and are building a space that conforms to their rhythm. The Independent Explorers Program will implement individualized therapy services for children with disabilities ages 0-5 experiencing moderate to severe behaviors who cannot participate in traditional 1:1 therapy or preschool settings.
Independent Explorers is implementing a value-based care model to improve communication, sensory, mobility and social emotional skills so children can participate in mealtime, playtime and other daily routines.
